Improve your Water System The Jabsco Accumulator Tank is intended for installation in any water system supplied by a pressure switch controlled water pump, for example Jabsco pressure pumps, as found on boats, caravans, motorhomes, coaches, and recreational vehicles. The accumulator tank smoothes water flow and reduces on/off cycling of the pump by reducing the variation in pressure and flow between the pump and outlets in the system. The even flow of water gives better control of hot water temperature especially noticeable with instantaneous gas water heaters and showers. The reduced on/off cycling reduces noise from the pump motor, and from shock pressures (water hammer). It also reduces battery drain, and gives longer pump life. |
The ITT Jabsco bronze centrifugal pump is designed for continuous duty service. The close coupled, compact motor pump unit is equipped with a ball bearing motor and stainless steel shaft and has a service factor of 1.5 or greater. The Centri-Puppy is equipped with a Viton lip seal for application versatility. Unlike ITT Jabsco flexible impeller pumps, the centrifugal pump is not self-priming. Normal installation is flooded suction, that is, with the pump below the source liquid level so that liquid flows by gravity to the pump. The pump may be located above the liquid source, if a check valve or foot valve is installed at the beginning of the suction line; and, the pump and entire suction line is filled with liquid; and, all air is bled from the suction side when primed and will maintain its prime, as long as the foot or check valve functions as it should, without leaking. If the check valve leaks, the pump will not reprime, and must be manually primed in order to resume operation. |

You may install JABSCO Regular and Compact bowl manually operated marine toilets in both power and sailing craft, either above or below the waterline, for use on sea, river, lake or canal. Your installation may discharge the waste either overboard (provided that your national and local regulations allow this), or into a treatment system or into an on-board holding tank (U.S.C.G. Marine Sanitation Devices Type I, II and III). |

To ensure maximum electric toilet performance and prime-ability when installing a vented loop in the inlet hose, it is recommended that a Vented Loop Solenoid Valve (37068-0000) is connected to the vent air inlet. The valve may be mounted in any convenient location which is higher than the top of the vented loop. Connect the brass port of the valve (remove plastic filter, if installed) with the air inlet of the vented loop using heavy-wall 3/16" tube. Ensure tubing drops continually from valve to vent and is not looped (to create water pockets) or kinked. Wire the solenoid valve in parallel with the toilet motor by connecting one side of the solenoid to the toilet flush switch and the other side to battery ground. |
